　　娄本义，现为环球华商书画艺术委员会理事、中国翰林书画院院士、国艺委书画艺术博物馆副馆长、中国书画研究中心秘书长、中华文化全球推广大使、中国企业文化促进会高级艺术顾问、中国东方文化研究会研究员、香港电视台签约书画家、中国瀚海雅墨书画艺术协会名誉会长、中国非物质文化遗产保护联盟书画艺术委员会委员、世界非物质文化遗产研究院副院长、中国非物质文化遗产研究院智库专家、中国书画报社特聘画家、中国民族建筑研究会书画艺术专业委员会理事会理事、东方艺术天地艺术顾问、瑞源阁书画紫砂艺术研究院常务理事、国家高级美术师香港书法家协会理事、中央艺术名家书画院首批央美智库专家。娄本义先生，自幼受家庭影响，酷爱书画艺术，书法从“柳、颜”入手，上溯“二王”，后崇米芾、王铎、吴昌硕书风格，用功尤深。绘画上在上世纪 70 年代末 80 年代初，有幸拜吴昌硕弟子陈荆源、王个簃先生为师，作为入室弟子谨遵先生教诲，“取法乎上、得其乎中、取法乎中、得其乎下、取法乎下、啥也不啥"。远追石涛、八大青藤、扬州八怪、任伯年、赵之谦、吴昌硕之风，寻根溯源，继承祖国的绘画传统。

　　1984-1985年参加由王个簃先生主讲的上海《中国青年报》篆刻函授班。

　　1988 年在中国书画函授大学毕业。

　　1985 年参加全国青年篆刻大奖赛并获三等奖。

　　70 年代末 80 年代初作品多次参加省市展览并获奖。

　　2014 年参加全国“草人杯”大奖赛获二等奖。参加在中华世纪坛举办的“留香墨韵”全国书画艺术家作品联谊展。

　　2015 年 9 月，参加“铭记历史·珍惜和平”纪念中国人民抗日战争胜利暨反法西斯战争胜利 70 周年书画展，书法条屏及国画牡丹双双入展并被组委会收藏。同年被提名为“中美杰出华人艺术家”候选人，其作品拟被选为美国邮票图案在全美及全球公开发行。

　　2016 年，在纪念房山石经刊刻与云居寺创建 1400 周年之际，书法作品四尺、十二条屏被云居寺文物管理处收藏;同年 12 月，作品《富贵神仙》入选北京纪念长征胜利 80 周年书法美术摄影展，并被组委会收藏。同年入选庆祝中国共产党成立 95 周年《时代先锋·中国当代书画名家邮册》;参加第二届华夏之星中国书画人才海选活动，书法、绘画作品分别入选获奖，并被中国书画家报社聘为特聘书画家。

　　同年应中国企业报道邀请参加优秀人民艺术家献礼活动。

　　2017 年，作品被北京市人民政府收藏。同年入选《 “不忘初心，继续前进" 邮册》;作品获“不忘初心、牢记使命、继续前行”书画展一等奖。

　　2018 年，经中企报盟信息科学研究院综合评定，入选“中国书画名家库”;同年，在中国老龄委举办的爱心公益事业“心灯点亮”孝道活动中获得赞誉;获得"人民艺术家"称号;

　　2018年9 月加入中国书画家联谊会新文艺群体书画家工作委员会。

　　2019 年 2 月，《中国书画家报》在“新时代书画艺术家风采系列推荐展示"活动中对其进行刊登报道。

　　2019年4 月获 2019寻找知名书画家网络评选大赛第三名。

　　2019年8 月作品寿桃和荷花入选庆祝中华人民共和国成立七十周年国际书画展。

　　Lou Benyi is currently a member of the Global Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Art Committee, an academician of the China Hanlin Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, the deputy director of the National Art Commission Painting and Calligraphy Art Museum, the secretary-general of the China Painting and Calligraphy Research Center, the ambassador for global promotion of Chinese culture, the senior art consultant of the China Enterprise Culture Promotion Association, a researcher of the China Oriental Culture Research Association, a contracted calligrapher and painter of Hong Kong Television, the honorary president of the China Hanhai Yamo Painting and Calligraphy Art Association, a member of the Painting and Calligraphy Art Committee of the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Alliance, the vice president of the World Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Institute, an expert in the think tank of the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Institute, a specially appointed painter of the China Painting and Calligraphy Newspaper, a council member of the Painting and Calligraphy Art Professional Committee of the China National Architecture Research Association, an art consultant of the Oriental Art Director of the Hong Kong Calligraphers Association, a national senior artist, and one of the first batch of experts from the Central Academy of Fine Arts Painting and Calligraphy. Mr. Lou Benyi, influenced by his family since childhood, has a great passion for calligraphy and painting. His calligraphy starts with "willows and beauties" and traces back to the "two kings". Later, he admired the calligraphy styles of Mi Fu, Wang Duo, and Wu Changshuo, and worked particularly hard. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, I was fortunate enough to be a disciple of Mr. Chen Jingyuan and Mr. Wang Gegui, disciples of Wu Changshuo. As a disciple who entered the school, I followed the teachings of Mr. Jin and said, "Take the method to the top, take it to the middle, take it to the middle, take it to the bottom, take it to the bottom, and nothing at all." I traced back to the styles of Shi Tao, the Eight Great Green Vines, the Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou, Ren Bonian, Zhao Zhiqian, and Wu Changshuo, tracing the roots and inheriting the traditional painting of our country.

　　From 1984 to 1985, I participated in the seal carving correspondence course taught by Mr. Wang Gegui for the Shanghai Youth Daily.

　　I graduated from the Correspondence University of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy in 1988.

　　In 1985, participated in the National Youth Seal Carving Grand Prix and won the third prize.

　　In the late 1970s and early 1980s, the works participated in several provincial and municipal exhibitions and won awards.

　　In 2014, he participated in the National "Drawman Cup" Grand Prix and won the second prize. Participate in the "Lingering Fragrance and Ink Charm" National Calligraphy and Painting Artists Exhibition held at the China Century Altar.

　　In September 2015, participated in the "Remembering History and Cherishing Peace" calligraphy and painting exhibition commemorating the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the Anti Fascist War. Calligraphy screens and traditional Chinese painting peonies were both exhibited and collected by the organizing committee. In the same year, he was nominated as a candidate for "Outstanding Chinese Artist in China and the United States", and his works were intended to be selected as US stamp patterns for public release in the United States and globally.

　　In 2016, on the occasion of commemorating the 1400th anniversary of the publication of the Fangshan Stone Sutra and the establishment of Yunju Temple, calligraphy works of four feet and twelve screens were collected by the Cultural Relics Management Office of Yunju Temple; In December of the same year, the work "Fortune and Wealth Immortals" was selected for the Beijing Calligraphy, Art and Photography Exhibition to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Long March, and was collected by the organizing committee. In the same year, he was selected to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the CPC; Participated in the 2nd Huaxia Star Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Talent Selection Activity, and calligraphy and painting works were selected for awards, and were hired as specially invited calligraphers and painters by the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Newspaper.

　　In the same year, I was invited by Chinese enterprises to participate in the tribute event for outstanding people's artists.

　　In 2017, the work was collected by the Beijing Municipal People's Government. In the same year, it was selected for the "Never Forget the Original Aspiration, Keep Moving Forward" stamp album; the work won the first prize in the "Never Forget the Original Aspiration, Remember the Mission, Keep Moving Forward" calligraphy and painting exhibition.

　　In 2018, after comprehensive evaluation by the Information Science Research Institute of China Enterprise News Alliance, it was selected as one of the "Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Masters Library"; In the same year, he received praise at the filial piety event of "Heart Lamp Lights Up" organized by the Chinese Aging Commission for love and public welfare; Received the title of "People's Artist";

　　Joined the New Art Group Calligraphers and Painters Working Committee of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association in September 2018.

　　In February 2019, the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Daily published a report on it during the "New Era Calligraphers and Painters Style Series Recommendation Exhibition" event.

　　In April 2019, won third place in the 2019 Online Selection Competition for Famous Calligraphers and Painters.

　　In May 2022, Sotheby's auctioned "Yaotai Xiantao" for 350000 yuan.

　　In July 2023, he was awarded the "Great Contribution Award for World Cultural Exchange" and the "First Batch of Central American Smart Bed Experts" by the Central Academy of Fine Arts.

　　In October 2023, awarded as a think tank expert by the China Academy of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

　　In April 2024, he was awarded the title of academician of the Chinese Hanlin Academy of Painting and Calligraphy.

　　In May 2024, Hong Kong Television signed a contract with a calligrapher and painter.

　　In July 2024, he was appointed as the Deputy Director of the Calligraphy and Painting Art Museum by the National Arts Commission.

　　In August 2024, he/she was awarded the title of Senior Art Advisor by the Corporate Culture Professional Committee of the China Association for the Promotion of Corporate Culture and participated in the report "Influential Figures of the Era Leading the Future Era Strong Country" by the Times Strong Country.
