　　Xu Xu, born in Zhuji, Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, China. Graduated from the Oil Painting Materials Graduate Program at the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. I graduated from the History Department of Jiangsu Normal University with a major in Cultural, Doctoral, and Archaeological Studies. Honorary Doctorate from the Colorado School of Engineering in the United States. Professor from Peking University. Doctoral supervisor at the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Art. Visiting professors at Tsinghua University School of Fine Arts, Central Academy of Fine Arts, China Central Television, Royal Academy of Fine Arts Victoria, Confucius Museum, and other institutions. Chairman of the Board of Directors of People's Book and Pictorial (2023-2026), Director of the Chinese Academy of Painting and Calligraphy (2024-2028), Chairman of the National People's Painting and Calligraphy Committee (long-term), President of the Chinese Han Painting Art Development Research Institute (lifetime), President of the Chinese Han Painting Confucianism and Taoism Art Research Institute (lifetime), and Lifetime Director of the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts Archaeology. 　　In 2021, the Chinese Artists Association and the Chinese Calligraphers Association awarded the honorary title of "People's Artist" to both the German and Chinese artists! In 2021, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China awarded Xu Xu the "Special Contribution Award for Chinese Culture" in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the inheritance and promotion of traditional Chinese culture, his rich knowledge, and outstanding achievements in the field of art! In April 2023, he was jointly recommended as a "Master of Art" by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China and the National Committee for the Approval of Professional Titles for Artists. In 2023, the China Investment Center and Investment Value Assessment Center certified Xu Xu as an artist with profound artistic background and unique collectible value. In 2024, it was awarded the "Gold Award" for children's scientific drawing and perspective education achievements by the Education Center of the China Care for the Next Generation Working Committee. In 2022, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China and the National Artist Title Evaluation Committee jointly awarded Xu Xu the "Lifetime Achievement Award for Oil Painting". Won the first prize of Florence International Artist in February 2025. In December 2024, Xu Xurong won the special prize at the 6th Social Reputation International Art Festival. In November 2024, Xu Xurong was awarded the "Golden Tripod National Treasure Award" by Shengshi Collection Artist. In October 2022, Xu Xu was awarded the title of China's top artist for "Red Wall National Essence". In June 2024, Xu Xu was awarded the "Hundred Flowers Award Award for Chinese Art" by the "Meritorious Artists Appraisal Committee". The 8th National Art Model "People's Treasure" Art Award by Xu Xu in 2024. Representative of the Chinese art world in 2024 and awarded the title of "National Treasure level Art Master". In September 2024, Xu Xurong won the "National Literary and Artistic Master Monument Award", and in November 2024, he won the "Gold Award" at the Picasso International Art Painting Competition. In January 2025, Xu Xu's "The Light of the Nine Tripods" won the gold medal at the Hans Christian Andersen International Art Competition. Elected as a researcher at the Palace Museum in 2025.
