1947年10月生，安徽定远人，毕业于上海华东师范大学中文系，自号颠狂老汉，书画双栖，尤精书道。其书法融汇造化，贯通古今，楷隶行草信手书来，皆能得其真奥。线条质感律动，明快酣畅，笔力雄健，气度恢弘。其小楷峻拔明丽，灵巧飞动，独具自家风貌。其画风旷达豪放，用笔方圆兼备，刚柔相济。花鸟山水皆能，尤擅画鸡，被书画界誉为“画鸡之王”。

　　现为中国书法家协会会员，中国美术家协会会员，中国书画家联谊会会员，中国书画院国画院副院长，上海海上书画研究院院长，上海市政协书画院特聘画师，复旦大学特聘研究员，国家一级美术师。2014年被上海收藏协会授予全国三百大师艺术家之一称号。

　　2021年新春伊始，为庆祝中国共产党百年华诞，杨华耀心怀满腔热情，根据中国共产党百年历程的四个时段，纵情挥毫创作了总题为“一唱天下白”的四幅巨幅画作。第一幅标题是“开天辟地救国大业”，描述的是百年党史第一阶段的革命经历(1921—1949);

　　第二幅标题是“改天换地兴国大业”，描述的是百年党史第二阶段的革命经历(1949—1978)

　　第三幅标题是“翻天覆地富国大业”，描述的是百年党史第三阶段的革命经历(1978—2012)

　　第四幅标题是“惊天动地强国大业”，描述的是百年党史第四阶段的革命经历(2012—2021)。

　　杨华耀先生的四幅画作形象地再现了100年来，中国共产党带领全国各族人民创造了伟大历史，铸就了伟大精神，实现了伟大飞跃，取得了举世瞩目的奇迹。他用行动证明自己“无愧于党、无愧于人民、无愧于读者”的赤诚之心，同时表达了杨华耀先生热爱党、热爱祖国、热爱人民的满怀豪情，为建党100周年贡献一份力量，受到社会各界人士广泛赞誉。

　　此外，他所作系列国画作品《一带一路百国吉祥花》以一带一路为纽带，以中国画形式串联一带一路沿线参与国家，用擅长的大吉图为构图主体，参与国家的国花为配景图，至目前共作画七十三幅，涉及国家七十三个，一国一花、一国一景、一国一情，纵情讴歌了一带一路的伟大构想及其辉煌前景。每一幅作品都焕发着热烈、喜庆、友好、吉祥的气象以及团结和睦、诚挚合作的美好愿望。

　　Born in October 1947 in Dingyuan, Anhui, graduated from the Chinese Department of East China Normal University in Shanghai. He is known as the Crazy Old Man, with a dual focus on calligraphy and painting, particularly skilled in calligraphy and art. His calligraphy blends creativity and connects ancient and modern times. When written in regular script, clerical script, cursive script, and cursive script, one can truly appreciate its profound essence. The texture of the lines is rhythmic, bright and smooth, with strong brushstrokes and grand magnanimity. Its small regular script is majestic, bright, and agile, with a unique style of its own. His painting style is broad and bold, with both square and round strokes, combining hardness and softness. Flowers, birds, mountains, and rivers are both skilled, especially in drawing chickens, earning him the title of "King of Chicken Painting" in the calligraphy and painting industry.

　　I am currently a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, the Chinese Artists Association, the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, the Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, the President of the Shanghai Maritime Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute, a specially appointed painter of the Shanghai Political Consultative Conference Painting and Calligraphy Institute, a specially appointed researcher of Fudan University, and a national first-class artist. In 2014, he was awarded the title of one of the 300 National Masters Artists by the Shanghai Collection Association.

　　At the beginning of the spring of 2021, in order to celebrate the centennial birthday of the CPC, Yang Huayao was full of enthusiasm. According to the four periods of the centennial history of the CPC, he created four huge paintings with the general title of "Singing the World White". The first title is "The Great Cause of Creating Heaven and Saving the Country", which describes the revolutionary experience of the first stage of the hundred year history of the Communist Party of China (1921-1949);

　　The title of the second picture is "Transforming the World and Revitalizing the Country", which describes the revolutionary experience of the second stage of the hundred year history of the Communist Party of China (1949-1978); The third title is "The Great Cause of Turning the Earth and Enriching the Country", describing the revolutionary experience of the third stage of the hundred year history of the Communist Party of China (1978-2012). The fourth title is "The Great Cause of Building a Strong Country", describing the revolutionary experience of the fourth stage of the hundred year history of the Communist Party of China (2012-2021).

　　Mr. Yang Huayao's four paintings vividly represent that over the past 100 years, the CPC has led the people of all ethnic groups across the country to create a great history, forge a great spirit, achieve a great leap, and achieve miracles that attract worldwide attention. He proved his sincere heart with actions, which is worthy of the Party, the people, and the readers. At the same time, he expressed Mr. Yang Huayao's full passion for the Party, the motherland, and the people, and contributed to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party. He has been widely praised by people from all walks of life.

　　In addition, his series of traditional Chinese paintings, "Auspicious Flowers of One Hundred Countries along the the Belt and Road", linked by the the Belt and Road, connected the participating countries along the the Belt and Road in the form of traditional Chinese paintings, used the good fortune map as the main composition, and the national flowers of the participating countries as the scenery matching map. So far, he has painted 73 paintings, involving 73 countries, one flower, one landscape, and one passion, and has indulged in eulogizing the great idea and brilliant prospects of the the Belt and Road. Each artwork is filled with a warm, festive, friendly, and auspicious atmosphere, as well as a beautiful desire for unity, harmony, and sincere cooperation.
