赵凌云，出生于1948年，安徽阜阳人，在业余时间中，刻苦研摩的古今碑帖，主攻金文大篆、汉简，精研真草隶行名碑名贴。他临习的名碑帖有石鼓文 、大盂鼎、毛公鼎、颂鼎、大小克鼎、散氏盘、墙盘、白盘等金文大篆，有汉碑代表作礼器碑、张迁碑、石门颂、石门铭、华山碑、鲜于璜碑、乙瑛碑、史晨碑等。有二王、文徵明、王铎、颜柳赵等历代名家法帖。在当今社会浮躁的氛围中，这是很难得的踏实学风
