Artist Luo Yongsheng, also known as Qizhong Xuanchan, is rooted in the fertile land of Qilu in Qingdao. He holds multiple artistic identities such as artist and literary critic, and always adheres to the original mission of "art for the people". 　　Luo Yongsheng was born in 1963 and has been immersed in the beautiful mountains and seas of Qingdao and the rich cultural heritage of Qilu since childhood. The inclusive cultural environment has created his works with both grandeur and delicate and dynamic artistic characteristics. As a member of the Shandong Artists Association and the Qingdao Artists Association, as well as a director of the Chinese Taoist (Laoshan) Calligraphy and Painting Academy and a member of the Beijing Qibaishi Research Association, he has been deeply involved in the art of calligraphy and painting for decades. He has learned from the tradition of calligraphy and painting without being limited to the past. He not only draws on Mr. Qibaishi's brushwork and freehand brushwork, but also integrates the ethereal artistic conception of Laoshan Taoist calligraphy and painting.
