  千百年来,年画独特的“成教化,助人伦;指鉴贤愚,发明创造;千古寂寥,披图可鉴”;“尊重原创,不走样,不走形,不走神“的设计制作要领,使每一幅作品,都成为千古传世佳作。


  上世纪八十年代后期联合国教科文组织官员参观武强年画后很震惊,被誉为“东方圣经图解”;文化艺术届称之为“中国农耕文明的缩影”、“民间美术敦煌”;民间大众鉴于它的实用性被誉为“无字真经”、“无字天书”、“封神榜”、“农耕文化的大百科全书”等,在识字率普遍不高的农耕时代,年画还成为城乡大众舆论传播、信仰寄托、文化传承的重要载体。


  先秦时期既非常发达的“礼之三本,国之四维”礼义文明思想,圆满回答了“人民有信仰,国家有力量,民族有希望”这一历史命题。

It is known as the originator of the printing technology of China's the Four Great Inventions, and was included in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection List in 2009; The "movable type printing" developed by Bi Sheng of the Northern Song Dynasty on this basis, which is 400 years apart, was included in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection List in 2010 and both became world-class intangible cultural heritage.

  In the late 1980s, UNESCO officials were shocked after visiting Wu Qiang's New Year paintings, which were hailed as the "Illustrated Bible of the East"; The cultural and artistic community refers to it as a "microcosm of Chinese agricultural civilization" and "Dunhuang folk art"; Due to its practicality, New Year paintings have been praised by the general public as "wordless scriptures", "wordless heavenly books", "lists of gods", "encyclopedias of agricultural culture", etc. In the agricultural era where literacy rates were generally low, New Year paintings also became an important carrier for urban and rural public opinion dissemination, belief sustenance, and cultural inheritance.


  The highly developed concept of "Three Elements of Rites and Four Dimensions of the Nation" in the pre Qin period perfectly answered the historical proposition of "the people have faith, the country has strength, and the nation has hope".
