李朝云，男，字巍，号天柱，笔名天魏子，艺名煮石。1945年2月出生于湖南省祁东县砖塘镇梅子山庄，大学文化。务过农，当过兵，从过政，最终走上了书画艺术创作之路。现为联合国国际艺术家联合总会副主席，联合国世界卫生组织环球文化传递大使，《人民美术》杂志社顾问，央视老故事“筑梦空间”栏目顾问，中央新影中学生频道“时代人物”栏目艺术顾问，中非文化交流大使，国家十大影响力艺术家，湖南广电国际频道“东方寻宝”栏目签约画家，中国文化艺术人才协会副主席，中国书法美木家创作中心终身荣誉教授，中国文化艺术发展联合会副主席，中国乡土作家协会理事，中国书画家联谊会会员，中国老年书画研究会会员，中国美术家协会湖南分会会员，湖南省九歌书画院艺术家，中南书画院院长，国家一级艺术家，入选《2023年福布斯(中国艺术福布斯)名人榜》。

    李朝云书画作品参加全国性展赛30余次，获奖20余次，其中一等奖5次，金奖8次。先后随团赴越南、泰国、新加坡、马来西亚、韩国、美国、联合国总部参加文化艺术交流活动。作品《梅竹》被泰国素博巴莫亲王和新加坡、韩国等国家政要收藏。1998年以来，先后在湖南多地举办个人画展，2004年1月应邀参加北京首届中国收藏文化博览会荣获“金艺奖”，2005年6月参加上海“中国书画名家全国城市巡回展”。2005年15幅国画作品入选“当代中华文化名家”专题邮票图案发行，2011年国画梅花作品在中国美术馆展出，并荣获“名花名家奖”。继梅花作品被山东潍坊国际碑林勒石刻碑，2017年5月作品《寒香》、《半窗睛翠》被中国新长城组委会遴选刻碑展示于长城八达岭。2015年9月应驻联合国中国书会特邀参加在美国纽约UCT国际文化中心举办的“庆祝联合国成立七十周年书画展”，作品国画《梅竹颂》，被联合国总部收藏。2017年10月28日官方机构在长沙美庐艺术馆举办李朝云画展暨《中国近现代名家画集——李朝云》(大红袍)首发式。2019年12月29日国画作品《红梅图》由北京汇珍拍卖公司以322000元高价拍卖成功。2019年10月获授“国家级金奖艺术家”称号和“首届金华艺术”奖杯，2020年1月1日“美中文艺交流发展中心”授予其《国际评分金牌资格证》。

    其作品与传略分别入编“世界当代著名书画家真迹博览大典》《二十世纪中国著名书画家》《百年经典——中国美术全集》《中华书画名家》《新中国书画60年》《中国历代书画名家大辞典》《世界文艺百科大全书》《中国近现代美术通史》《中国美术史》等80余部典籍。著有《朝云墨痕轩诗书画集》《朝云书画集》《朝云画梅》《国家艺术人物李朝云专刊》《中国国礼艺术家李朝云专刊》，分别由中国文联出版社、北京燕山出版社等机构出版发行。2017年1月天津人民美术出版社正式发行《中国近现代名家画集——李朝云》(大红袍)。并获《人民美术》、《投资与收藏》等10余家权威刋物隆重推介。6幅梅竹国画编入2018年第一版《中小学书法美术》教材。

    一代翘楚李朝雲画风清奇，匠心独运，近十年声名鹊起，享誉中外。《湖南日报》《中国书画报》《人民日报》海外版等权威媒体纷纷报道。红网、优酷、腾讯视频、中央电视台老故事频道等现代媒体先后推出李朝云专题纪录片。2017年8月《人民美术》杂志社联合中央电视台CCTV摄制组拍摄“一带一路”书画名家李朝云访谈，2018年3月中央电视台纪念改革开放40周年拍摄“奋进新时代·筑梦新征程——艺术名家李朝云”专题片，2019年6月“新时代艺术名家李朝云”专题片在全国各级各类媒体集中展播。

Li Chaoyun, male, courtesy name Wei, nickname Tianzhu, pen name Tianweizi, stage name Boiled Stone. Born in February 1945 in Meizishan Village, Zhuantang Town, Qidong County, Hunan Province, with a university background. Having worked as a farmer, soldier, and politician, I eventually embarked on the path of creating calligraphy and painting art. I am currently the Vice Chairman of the United Nations International Artists Federation, Ambassador for Global Cultural Transmission of the United Nations World Health Organization, Advisor to the People's Fine Arts Magazine, Advisor to the CCTV Old Story "Dream Building Space" Program, Art Advisor to the "Times Figures" Program of the Central New Film High School Student Channel, Ambassador for Cultural Exchange between China and Africa, Top Ten Influential Artists of the Country, Signed Painter for the "Oriental Treasure" Program of Hunan Radio and Television International Channel, Vice Chairman of the China Cultural and Art Talent Association, Lifetime Honorary Professor of the Chinese Calligraphy and Wooden Artists Creation Center, Vice Chairman of the China Cultural and Art Development Federation, Director of the Chinese Rural Writers Association, Member of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, Member of the Chinese Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, Member of the Hunan Branch of the Chinese Artists Association, and a member of the Nine SongAcademician, Dean of Zhongnan Calligraphy and Painting Academy, National First Class Artist, Selected for the 2023 Forbes (China Art Forbes) Celebrity List.

Li Chaoyun's calligraphy and painting works have participated in more than 30 national exhibitions and competitions, winning more than 20 awards, including 5 first prizes and 8 gold medals. I have accompanied the delegation to Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, the United States, and the United Nations headquarters to participate in cultural and artistic exchange activities. The work "Plum Bamboo" is collected by Prince Subobamo of Thailand and political figures from Singapore, South Korea and other countries. Since 1998, he has held personal art exhibitions in multiple places in Hunan. In January 2004, he was invited to participate in the first China Collection Culture Expo in Beijing and won the "Golden Art Award". In June 2005, he participated in the "National Urban Tour Exhibition of Chinese Calligraphers and Painters" in Shanghai. In 2005, 15 Chinese painting works were selected for the "Contemporary Chinese Cultural Masters" special stamp pattern distribution. In 2011, the Chinese painting plum blossom works were exhibited at the National Art Museum of China and won the "Famous Flower Artist Award". Following the plum blossom works being inscribed on the international stele forest in Weifang, Shandong, in May 2017, the works "Cold Fragrance" and "Half Window Eyes Green" were selected by the China New Great Wall Organizing Committee to be displayed on the stele at Badaling. In September 2015, I was invited by the Chinese Book Society stationed at the United Nations to participate in the "Celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the United Nations Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition" held at the UCT International Cultural Center in New York, USA. My artwork, "Ode to Plum and Bamboo," was collected by the United Nations headquarters. On October 28, 2017, the official organization held the Li Chaoyun Painting Exhibition and the premiere ceremony of the "Li Chaoyun Collection of Chinese Modern and Contemporary Masters" (Da Hong Pao) at the Meilu Art Museum in Changsha. On December 29, 2019, the traditional Chinese painting "Red Plum Blossom" was successfully auctioned off by Beijing Huizhen Auction Company for a high price of 322000 yuan. In October 2019, he was awarded the title of "National Gold Award Artist" and the "First Jinhua Art" trophy. On January 1, 2020, the "US China Cultural Exchange and Development Center" awarded him the "International Scoring Gold Medal Qualification Certificate".

His works and biographies are respectively included in more than 80 classic books, including the "World Contemporary Famous Calligraphers and Painters Authentic Exhibition", "Famous Chinese Calligraphers and Painters in the 20th Century", "Centennial Classics - Complete Collection of Chinese Art", "Chinese Calligraphers and Painters", "60 Years of New Chinese Calligraphy and Painting", "Dictionary of Chinese Calligraphers and Painters in All Dynasties", "Encyclopedia of World Literature and Art", "General History of Chinese Modern Art", "History of Chinese Art", etc. He has authored "Chaoyun Mochen Xuan Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Collection", "Chaoyun Painting Plum Blossom", "National Artist Li Chaoyun Special Issue", and "Chinese National Ritual Artist Li Chaoyun Special Issue", all of which were published by Chinese artists. Published and distributed by institutions such as the Federation of Literary and Art Circles Publishing House and Beijing Yanshan Publishing House. In January 2017, Tianjin People's Fine Arts Publishing House officially released the "Collection of Chinese Modern and Contemporary Famous Artists - Li Chaoyun" (Da Hongpao). It was also awarded the title of "People's Fine Arts" More than 10 authoritative publications, such as "Investment and Collection", are highly recommended. Six traditional Chinese paintings of plum and bamboo were included in the first edition of the 2018 textbook "Calligraphy and Art in Primary and Secondary Schools".

Li Chaoyun, a leading figure of his generation, has a unique painting style and unique craftsmanship. In the past decade, he has gained great fame and is renowned both domestically and internationally. Authoritative media such as Hunan Daily, China Calligraphy and Painting Daily, and People's Daily Overseas Edition have reported on it one after another. Modern media such as Rednet, Youku, Tencent Video, and CCTV's Old Story Channel have successively launched Li Chaoyun's special documentary. In August 2017, People's Fine Arts magazine and CCTV production team of CCTV filmed an interview with Li Chaoyun, a famous calligrapher and painter of the "the Belt and Road". In March 2018, CCTV filmed a feature film of "Striving for a New Era, Building a Dream and a New Journey - Li Chaoyun, a famous artist" in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up. In June 2019, the feature film of "Li Chaoyun, a famous artist of the new era" was intensively displayed in various media at all levels throughout the country.
