  观赏书法家赵道坤先生的书法作品,犹如走进一片墨香,尽是文人书法的书卷气质,天质自然,惠风和畅!赵道坤先生以其文化修养作为驱动笔墨的独特的艺术导语,在宣张之上遂心应手创作出一件件富有文化精神的书道臻卷。


  如果说艺术是修养灵魂的镜像,那么赵道坤先生的书法作品便是笔墨磨砺的优雅铜镜,映照出个人趣旨情怀融于笔墨的灵光倩影。陈继儒所言书之妙道,神采为上,形质次之。赵道坤先生的书法创作不仅有形质之美,更在于其作品中蕴含着精神动能和哲学深度,特别耐看,相当耐品。他将书法作为一场人文修行,用笔墨反馈他对文化世界的洞察结晶,书如其人,真实不虚!

  在时代飞速发展的今日,各种艺术领域的艺术家也都是在努力的追寻于时代浪潮,而在书法艺术界中,这种趋向多元激荡的艺术效应也是十分显著。但书法之所以能够传承于今日,其所靠的不单单只是有深厚的人文思想和精神载体,更多的还有那以古为师的取法体系!而作为一名实力深厚的翰墨名家,赵道坤先生今日的书法造诣便也就是有贯于这样一条与古同源的创作道路!是谓汲古问今秉持真谛,执笔立意,不失一格!纵观先生书法之作,其书乃是以书法最得高古之气!师法之路,是有深涉碑法之余韵,也见个性升华之品性,每每用笔,时而刚劲有力,好似壮士断腕,爽利果敢,时而又是盈动蕴畅,恰如流水变化,枯润并施!前者风貌,皆是以方雄之笔而铸苍茫之气,是谓道劲凝重,典雅至极,而后者风貌,则多是以隽逸贯穿形态,虽变化却不失法度,虽灵动却不失格调,由此观之,真是笔墨功底深厚可鉴,气韵自然雅俗共赏也!抱朴守真,与古交融。清代王好曾有言,是曰:“立品之人,笔墨外自有一种正大光明之概!”今赵道坤先生执笔于书,也恰恰就是有持于此立品正道!其作中字字所书,是有高志存于笔墨,亦有品正寄于字势,如此文人心迹,诚是以修书气之高也!手与神运,艺从心得,坚质浩气,由此而生。

  Zhao Daokun, a Chinese national gift artist and world cultural celebrity, uses the pen name Huabuzhu Shitan. Born in Jinan, Shandong in December 1956, he is of Han ethnicity. He graduated from Shandong University with a major in history and Shandong Normal University with a major in Chinese language and literature. He completed the advanced class at the Lu Xun Literature Institute, holds the title of First-Class Calligraphy Master, and is a senior engineer. He is an expert receiving special government allowance from the State Council, a consultant to the China Calligraphers Association, the chief artistic chairman of the "Cultural and Tourism Art Digital Resource Library" of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, a contracted artist of CCTV's calligraphy and painting channel, an expert consultant to the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, a calligraphy researcher at the China Oriental Culture Research Association, a senior researcher at the China Popular Literature and Art Research Association, an artistic consultant for the "Art Journey" program on the Central New Film Middle School Channel, a contracted artist of Hong Kong Television, the vice president of the World Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Institute, the chief artistic chairman of Asia Culture Network, a senior artistic consultant to the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Special Committee of the China Enterprise Culture Promotion Association, a member of the Chinese Prose Society, the Chinese Poetry Society, and the Chinese Couplet Society, a correspondent for the Cultural and Creative Department of People's Art Publicity Network, a member of the Zhongxuan Shengshi Culture and Art Exchange Center, the deputy editor-in-chief of the poetry creation room of China Poetry Daily, and a member of the Smart China-Chic (Beijing) Cultural Industry Development Center. He was awarded the title of "Ten Museums Passed Down·International Collection Cultural and Art Diplomat" by the Foreign Publicity Office of the National Committee in 2025. He is an artist in multiple fields including novels, prose, poetry, calligraphy, painting, and songs, and has been listed on the "World Art Hundred Rankings".


  From 2024 to 2026, for three consecutive years, the artist has been highly recommended by the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He has been awarded the honor of "Chinese Art Sage" and "Top Ten Leading Figures in Chinese Art Circles". He is a public figure with both moral integrity and artistic excellence in China's literary and art circles. He is also a highly recommended artist in the "Chinese Talents - Master of Art" series, recognized as "the most collectible artist in contemporary China". He has been honored as "the world's most collectible art master", "the top-tier art and calligraphy creator in global culture and art", featured in the national large-scale documentary exhibition "The Legacy of the Nation", and appointed as the spokesperson for the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage in "National Treasures". He is also a Red Wall artist, embodying the spirit of "red walls forge character, and museum collections define height". He inscribed the theme word for the "First Global Chinese Spring Festival Cultural Greetings Event" hosted by China Literature and Art Publishing House and CCTV: "Galloping steed, unstoppable momentum", and won the "Gold Award of the China Contemporary Art Prize", "Gold Award of Forbes World Cultural Ceremony", and "Hurun Gold Award of Global Art". He was the social responsibility artist for the 2025 Spring Festival greetings on CCTV-2. He was also an excellent artist in the "Shining China 2025 Global Exhibition of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Masters" on China International Education Television, serving as an ambassador for ASEAN cultural and artistic exchanges. He participated in the 2025 joint exhibition of contemporary Chinese art masters at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, serving as a special guest and winning the Excellent Work Award. He was also honored with the Excellence Award at the 36th "Fashion Classic National Calligraphy and Painting Masters Invitation Exhibition" at the Beijing Poly Art Museum, the Rongbaozhai National Silver Age Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition, and the "Art and Peace" International Art Masters Peace Biennial Exhibition. He exhibited in the ground porcelain painting project at the Beijing Water Cube, which holds the Guinness World Record for "glaze star color". His calligraphy works have been recognized by the Beijing Cultural Property Exchange Center as "outstanding contribution artists" for the "14th Five-Year Plan National Key R&D Program Cultural Product Property Value Assessment and Confirmation". He won the first prize at the 12th National Standard Chinese Character Writing Competition, and in 2024, he received the gold award at the China Youth Education and Care Center's "Aesthetic Education China Cultural Carnival (Beijing National Stadium General Exhibition)".


  The calligraphy work "Nian Nu Jiao·Dan Qing Song" is collected by UNESCO. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has used the poetry calligraphy "Spring Orchid" to create a tea set as a national gift for foreign friends during the 2024 Spring Festival. The embassies of Russia, Nepal, Benin, Côte d'Ivoire, and Madagascar in Beijing have issued certificates of collection. "Qi Lu·Plum Blossom" is collected by the Beijing Collectors Association, and "Qi Jue·Visiting Zhuge Village" is collected by the People's Artist Magazine. It has been included in the 2023 national gift collection "Glory China" contemporary art master collection stamp album, "Forbes World Cultural Gala Gold Award Person", "Chinese Craftsmanship" collection of Sun Xiaoyun and Zhao Daokun, "Chinese Calligraphy History·Modern and Contemporary Volume" art consultant, "World Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritor Dictionary" art consultant, "World National Treasure-Level Art Master Collection Dictionary" art consultant, "21st Century National Treasure-Level Calligraphy and Painting Art Collection Guide" art consultant, "Dictionary of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Masters of All Ages" special editorial board member, "Chinese Art Circles Celebrity Directory", "Collection of Chinese Contemporary Famous Calligraphy and Painting Works", "Chinese Celebrity Calligraphers and Painters", "World Art Education History (2024 Edition)", "Yearbook of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association 2024", "Guardian of National Intangible Cultural Heritage Skills", "Selection of Works by National First-Class Calligraphers", "China Calligraphy and Painting News", "China Calligraphers and Painters News", "China-Chic Culture", "Great Art of Beauty", and other books and periodicals.


  Representative literary works include: "Zhao Daokun Literary Works Album", four poems in the form of seven-character quatrains titled "Four Gentlemen", four poems in the form of seven-character verses titled "Plum, Orchid, Bamboo, Chrysanthemum", a new poem titled "Huabuzhu Mountain, You Are a Maiden Advancing from the Ancient Times to the Future", a prose titled "Whispers of Confession", a short story titled "The Red Age", and a novel titled "This Is the Hometown of Confucius". His works have been included in books and journals such as "Chinese Contemporary Writers and Calligraphers' Masterpieces Collection", "National Collection of Excellent Poetry, Calligraphy, and Painting Works", "Chinese Culture into Ten Thousand Homes · Excellent Calendar Yearbook", "Yangtze River Series", Japan's "Arashiyama Elegance", "Chinese Avant-garde Writers and Poets", "Citizens of the Republic", as well as literary websites such as China Writers Network and Zhao Daokun Calligraphy and Painting. He has won the Special Award of the Chinese Contemporary Writers and Calligraphers' Masterpieces Collection, was named one of the "Top 100 Contemporary Literary Artists" at the 2021 China Writers and Calligraphers Summit Forum, won the first prize in the second national "Langya Cup" Contemporary Poetry, Calligraphy, and Painting Elite Competition, and was recognized as an "Outstanding Poet of the Chinese Online Poetry Circles" in 2019. His novel "This Is the Hometown of Confucius" was included in the 2023 bilingual (Chinese and English) "World Who's Who", won the Great Contribution Award of the 6th World Cultural Exchange, was named a "World Outstanding Achievement Celebrity" in 2023, and received the World Cultural Ambassador Gold Medal.
