  His mastery of ink color is truly remarkable. The light ink is like the misty rain of Jiangnan, while the thick ink is like the frosty forest of the north. The interweaving of dryness and wetness is like a silent melody - sometimes delicate like spring rain moistening things, sometimes vigorous like autumn wind sweeping leaves. Especially the technique of layering ink, which reveals emptiness in its richness and elegance in its concentration, vividly interprets the tradition of "ink is divided into five colors".


  The composition of the picture is indescribable. From a distance, it is as powerful as Mount Tai, while from a close view, it is as exquisite as embroidery stitches. The perfectly balanced blank spaces are like the hidden meanings in poetry, evoking endless contemplation. The use of color is also ingenious: the base color is paved with stone green and ochre, occasionally embellished with rattan yellow rouge.
