周宝麟，古都陕西西安市人，别署：麒麟阁。号，醉墨。自幼酷爱钻研书画，习临历代名人碑文，临池碑帖，以碑求势，以帖求气，酒坛作枕，饮之狂毫至今五十余年……。在钻研书法的同时，将书法和国画融为一体，相互结合，共同研习。不但精通书法行，草，隶，篆，在国画大写意花卉上更有自己独特的风格和风范，作品出已神韵，融合贯通，古朴拙美，气势沉雄。书画深受国内外书画收藏家和鉴赏家的高度评价，并被国内外收藏家和鉴赏家以及各界知名人士收藏。在创作书画的同时，于2003年自筹資金300万创办"大中国画院"至今已十五年之久。随后相继在北京、西安创建大中国画院北京、西安分院。

现任：中国书法家协会会員，大中国画院院长，美国兰亭笔会副会长，广东省收藏家协会专业委員会副主任。香港文联美术家协会会员,广东侨商会常务理事。

I have studied inscriptions on famous figures throughout history and calligraphy on Linchi inscriptions. I use inscriptions to seek power and calligraphy to seek energy. I use wine jars as pillows and drink wildly for over fifty years. While studying calligraphy, integrate calligraphy and traditional Chinese painting into one, combine them, and study together. Not only is he proficient in calligraphy, cursive script, clerical script, and seal script, but he also has his own unique style and demeanor in the large-scale freehand flower painting of traditional Chinese painting. His works are full of charm, integration, simplicity, simplicity, beauty, and majesty. Calligraphy and painting are highly praised by collectors and connoisseurs both domestically and internationally, and have been collected by collectors, connoisseurs, and well-known figures from all walks of life. While creating calligraphy and painting, it has been fifteen years since the establishment of the "Great Chinese Painting Academy" with self raised funds of 3 million yuan in 2003. Subsequently, the Beijing and Xi'an branches of the Great Chinese Painting Academy were established successively in Beijing and Xi'an.
