Gao Benqiang, born in 1960, is a member of the Communist Party of China. He graduated from Harbin Normal University and later became a teacher under Liu Bingsen. His works have forged his unique brushwork with thickness, carefree and grandeur, and have won numerous awards in national competitions. Awarded the title of artist with both moral and artistic excellence. The work has been collected by the Great Hall of the People, Zhongnanhai, national leaders, as well as foreign heads of state and embassies. From 2011 to 2013, China Bookstore twice published a collection of calligraphy works by renowned calligrapher Gao Benqiang, and China Post has published several calligraphy albums and stamps by Gao Benqiang. Current position: National first-class artist and visiting professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Expert who enjoys special allowances.
